Your Spirit, Mind, Heart, and Body are intricately connected. What you think impacts how you feel both emotionally and physically. How you feel emotionally affects not only how you feel physically, but also what you think. How you feel physically influences both how you feel emotionally and what you think. And all of that has an effect on your Spirit.
Unfortunately, many methods leave out one or more of these very important parts of YOU. There are common references to only mind and body or mind, body, spirit. To experience long-term HEALING, you must understand their True relationship and you must HONOR their priority: Spirit, Mind, Heart, & Body.
When your Mind flows in mental Harmony, your Spirit is allowed to lead in Harmony, your Heart follows with positive emotions and flows in Harmony, and your physical Body has no choice but to follow in Harmony.
This is the True Spirit, Mind, Heart, and Body connection.
SPIRIT Your Spirit is meant to lead you in complete TRUST, otherwise known as FAITH.
MIND Your Mind intuitively follows your Spirit in complete TRUST unless you override your instincts and allow your Mind to lead in fear. You cannot live in complete TRUST and fear at the same time. You either have complete TRUST or you don’t. So, although it is the intention that your Spirit leads you in complete TRUST, it has somehow evolved that the vibration of your Mind has the most significant impact on your life.
Living in fear means that you’re not sure that everything is exactly as it is supposed to be, and you’re uncertain that it will work out the way you want it to or the way you think it should. Stress is based on fear. Worry is a degree of fear. Doubt is a level of fear, as is concern, uncertainty, anxiety, dread, distress, agony, dismay, distrust, and skepticism. Fear is having an attachment to the outcome. If you feel the need to protect you or your loved ones from something, you’re living in fear. Fear is assuming that maybe you know what is better for you and others than God, than the Universe, does.
The ultimate objective is to live in complete TRUST all the time, which allows your Spirit to lead. When you live in fear, you allow your Mind to lead.
When you have a thought, it is out in the Universe. The moment you have a thought, you have given energy direction. Wishing you didn’t have the thought or telling yourself you should not think that way does not negate the thought or the energy of the thought. Your thoughts are there and are between you and GOD. Even though you may try to ignore or deny them, you cannot always completely hide your thoughts from yourself, and you certainly cannot ever hide them from your Spirit, from GOD or from the Universe.
You cannot live a Truly positive life with a negative Mind (or pretending that you don’t have one).
HEART Your Heart instinctively follows your Mind. When you have positive thoughts, your Heart follows with positive feelings. When you have negative thoughts (whether you HONOR them or not), emotions such as anger, frustration, sadness, disappointment, and fear are triggered.
Contrary to what some may believe, you do not choose your emotions. You do not choose to feel sad, unhappy, etc. You feel what you feel because your thoughts triggered those emotions!
Do you choose to be happy, or do you choose to ignore the fact that you’re unhappy and pretend that you’re happy?
Like your thoughts, when you feel an emotion, the energy of that emotion is out in the Universe. When an emotion is triggered, it immediately gives energy power. Wishing you didn’t feel that way, ignoring that you felt that way, or pretending that you do not feel that way does not negate the emotion or the energy of the emotion. It just suppresses, denies, or ignores it. Trying to let go of or release the emotion does not negate it. It just attempts to put it out in the Universe where it can then negatively affect someone or something else. If you cannot let it go or move on, you suppress, deny, or ignore it. Trying to convince yourself that you feel a positive emotion in a situation when you really don’t does not negate the negative emotion. It just suppresses, denies, or ignores the emotion(s) you’re really feeling. Even if you are able to release, clear, or let go of the emotion, the perception that you had that triggered the emotion is still there, which means that you’re never able to transfer all of what you’re feeling.
Anytime you feel an emotion, it is for that time and all the times you have ever felt that emotion and didn’t know what to do with it, so you suppressed, denied, or ignored it. Emotions can be triggered by a current experience, but it may not be the current experience that is traumatic. It is because those emotions have been suppressed, denied, or ignored before, often many, many times. That is why something that seems trivial can set people off. This is what happens with people who take guns to theaters, schools, etc. It could be just “one more thing” that pushes them over the edge and makes them react the way they do.
Dis-Harmonyin the Body = Dis-Harmony in the Spirit, Mind, and Heart.
BODY It is your Mind that triggers the emotions you feel, and it is your glandular system that translates your emotions into physical responses. Every emotion you feel has an immediate impact on the DNA of your physical Body, positive or negative, whether or not you Honor those emotions and whether or not you recognize those immediate physical responses. In other words, lower-level thoughts trigger negative emotions which are the causes of all of the physical symptoms you experience. Consequently, your physical Body is merely a communication mechanism to tell you when something in your life is out of Harmony and that you have lessons to learn and opportunities to HEAL.
Your physical Body is merely a representation of the True condition of your Spirit, your Mind, and your Heart.
When you completely comprehend the Spirit, Mind, Heart, Body connection, you stop blaming others for the things in your life that you do not like or that you wish were different, and you stop blaming disturbances in your physical Body on what you eat and drink, activities that you do, or what you “have.”
Listen to what your Body is trying to tell you. It gives you clues as to what needs HEALING in your life.
